Gold Coast 600 to Feature Top Music Artists and Racing Stars

The V8 Supercars ARMOR ALL Gold Coast 600 will feature top music artists and racing stars.

The festival will start on October 1, 2013. The international music artists who will perform on Friday night include Gym Class Heroes with Travie McCoy. The supporting acts are Australia’s Havana Brown, Bomb’s Away and Spiderbait. The concert on Saturday night will feature The Presets, with Grinspoon and the Gold Coast’s The Stafford Brothers and DJ Brooke Evers.

The events have a maximum capacity of 5000 people. The first 1000 ticket holders can get a free ticket, while the rest of the tickets will be available for $19.95 per night when buying a same-day or three-day event ticket.

On October 19, V8 Supercars and the Australian Karting Association will present the Race of the Stars. Roughly 150 top Australian racing stars will attend the event at Pimpama’s Xtreme Karting Facility, along with V8 drivers and local celebrities.

On October 20, there will be a Surfers Paradise street parade. The Gold Coast will also hold the final 2013 Miss V8 Supercars competition and announce the winner. Finally, the three-day racing event will conclude the festival from October 25 – 27.
