Lapping Up the Gold Coast Sunshine
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, the average rainfall for Coolangatta on the Gold Coast by the end of August was 1.8mm. Also, with maximum temperatures ranged from 23°C to 26°C, the Gold Coast is the place to go during winter.
It may still be a bit cold for those who already live on the coast, but for those living in Melbourne, where the weather is colder, the sunny Gold Coast is the perfect destination for a warm holiday.
Plenty of sunshine on the coast has given the locals some chance to go to the beach, but for visitors and tourists from colder states, it’s summer on the Gold Coast.
Alexandra Young from Victoria said that the Gold Coast is a fantastic place to be and better than Melbourne. She went up to the coast for a family visit, and after 10 days, she thought of moving there to lap up the Gold Coast sunshine all year round.
