Models on the Starting Line for V8 Supercars

It’s almost that time again! The engines are revving and the crowds are in town for the GC600 V8 Supercars on the Gold Coast.

And the search for Miss V8 Supercars is almost over, according to a recent article on goldcoast.com.au. The heats are now finished and the finalists will be judged in the sportswear section on Thursday October 24 in Cavill Mall and the swimwear section on Friday October 25 at the Watermark Hotel. The winner will then be crowned on Saturday October 26 at Surfers Paradise beach.

One of the finalists, 22-year-old financial planner Prudence McEniery, said it was her first time as a contestant in the Miss V8 Supercars competition and her first foray into modelling. She said she found the atmosphere very exciting and it has given her an interest in motor racing, also for the first time.

The streets of Surfers Paradise will come alive to the roar of V8s on Friday October 25 and the excitement will continue until Sunday October 27, with some of the final Miss V8 Supercars events to be conducted during the race.
