Beach Party at Surfers Paradise

Surfers Paradise Beach was the location for a huge party taking place this April.

Held over three nights, LAUNCH IT was a beach concert with a difference – one theme for each night. The first night – Friday April 4th – was focused on electronic dance with multi-platinum artists Bombs Away. These Top Ten DJs were whipping the crowd into a frenzy as they chose from their box of hits, but they were just one of the contemporary dance acts partygoers heard on the opening night.

Saturday was dedicated to Australian rock anthems, and the main act were The Angels with Dave Gleeson.

The final night highlighted unsigned talent from across the country and featured acts from ABC’s music competition, Exhumed. The winners, Jansifik, appeared alongside all the other finalists from the show.

The beach party ran from 4-6 April and tickets were available for each night of LAUNCH IT, with weekend passes also available, according to surfersparadise.com.
