World Class Conference Centre Planned for Sea World Resort

Sea World Resort & Water Park will soon be home to a multi-million dollar conference centre. The new centre will provide a unique conferencing space for up to 1,000 people, offering a larger capacity than its other venues.

There are currently six conference spaces at the Resort. General Manager Bikash Randhawa said that the new conference centre will reinforce the role of Sea World as a conference leader on the Gold Coast.

The 750 square metre centre, which will be completed in 2015, can be divided into three sections. It will be fitted out with the latest audio-visual equipment and a large Al Fresco-style veranda. Access to Sea World Resort’s 402 rooms will offer convenience for conference attendees and organisers. There are four restaurants and two bars at the Resort.

Randhawa said that events at the local theme parks as can be offered as part of a conference package for attendees and conference organisers.
